Jumpstart network

An Outreach Arm of Christ Church North Bay

Dear friends and supporters,

 

The Lord continues to open significant doors for Jumpstart Network to proclaim the Gospel in India and in Indonesia.   I have been asked to lead the Advisory Board of Jumpstart Network to help increase the impact of the relationships that Pastor Titus has sown into for four decades.   It is an honor to serve in this capacity with a group of believers who have a deep passion for proclaiming the gospel to the nations.

 

So far in 2007 we have made much progress in preparing for this next chapter of Jumpstart Network.   Including our initial board meeting in February, we have had three meetings to plan for launching an expanded ministry.   The board includes Loren Edwardson, Philip Titus, Matt Duffy, Bob Bliss,            Carl Mosebach, Robert Murphree, David Culbertson, Wayne Anderson and myself.

 

Projects the board has taken on so far include:

 

• Re-writing the Jumpstart vision and mission statement
• Grant writing application
• Writing newsletters
• Assisting with fundraising
• Advice on strategy for ministry direction

 

Fundraising for special projects, with projected amounts needed, include:

 

• New brochures and material for Jumpstart and for our ESL Programs:  $1,000
• Part time help to write marketing material and collect content for the website: $1,600
• Web site development:  $1,200
• Incorporation of Jumpstart Network as a 501c3 so we can pursue broader grants (so far Jumpstart has been functioning under Christ Church’s 501c3 plan, which limits Jumpstart’s fundraising ability):  $1,500
• Grant writing:  $3,000
• Salaries for administration:  $15,000
• Children educational center in Indonesia:  currently $350/mo.

 

• Workers monthly support in Andhra, India): currently  $100/mo.
• Tsunami effected children in Andhra: currently $100/mo.
• Support for evangelism and related church work in northern India (IPCNR, New Delhi): currently  $200/mo.

 

 

 

 

 

As you may know we operate primarily through funding from Christ Church North Bay and donations from other supporters of Jumpstart.  All donations received will go for the work in India, Indonesia and to partner ministries in those places we are called to impact.  We believe the Lord wants us to raise approximately $30,000 this year to increase our support of partner ministries in India and Indonesia.  Very small amounts of money help bring the good news of Jesus into dark and hopeless areas in those places.   Would you please consider making a tax deductible donation of $100, $500, $1000  or more to help fund our budget and ministry?  We deeply appreciate your prayers and support.  Please partner with Jumpstart Network as we fulfill the great commission and sow seeds for the great harvest the Lord is preparing in India and predominantly Muslim Indonesia.
